Hi I'm Renee' Maher I am a sophomore Theatre Education and Musical Theatre major. I have been teaching since the age of 13 and am passionate about giving these young performers the best experiences and lessons to take with them through out life. ​

 

Theatre is a safe place for a young performer to grow, learn, make mistakes and build confidence. I teach them that it is OKAY to make mistakes and step out of your comfort zone. 

 

This website is a space where I can reflect as an educator. It's important to me to stay a life long learner so I can continue to grow my skills and in return be the best for these young performers. I don't call them kids because to me they aren't. They're a performer first and I treat them as I would any other actor... except we definitely play more theatre games and have a lot more fun!
